For over 35 years, I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with highly skilled professionals in the retirement plan industry. These individuals have not only mentored me in the early stages of my career but have also instilled in me the passion and dedication for my chosen field of work. It is a career that I basically stumbled upon while in college but by the time I graduated from Loyola University in Chicago, it was clear to me that the retirement plan industry was where I wanted to be. From designing new plans for start up companies to providing ongoing compliance and consulting advice to plan sponsors, I seek to ensure that their current programs are still in concert with the client’s retirement objectives. I have provided clients with innovative solutions and developed retirement strategies as new challenges came to the forefront. It is important to note that even the simplest plan design is not devoid of potential issues that may result, as an example, from mergers and acquisitions, controlled group status, changes in employee demographics or financial downturn. It is my desire to provide clients with “added value” by lending my expertise to assist them in making the right decisions for their company and their employees with regard to their retirement programs. I am a member of the Association of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) and hold the Certified Pension Consultant (CPC), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designations.
